Engel & Volkers continues expansion

12 March 2008

Managing director of Engel & Voelkers (Thailand) Ltd., Martin Phillips, has revealed that the company plans to further expand its operations in Thailand.

The international real estate agency opened its first Thai office in Phuket in 2005 and 2007 saw another office open in Hua Hin. The company added another office in Bangkok recently, which is now headed by expansion manager Gary Irvin.

Serving the high end residential market of premium houses, villas, condominiums, apartments and land in Thailand, the property shop concept brings convenience, location and style to select residential areas.

According to a recent report in the Bangkok Post, Engel & Voelkers Thailand are looking for franchise partners, have already divided Bangkok into key residential zones and are offering licenses at Bt2.5 million plus royalty payments. Other areas in Bangkok for consideration are Lat Phrao and Bang Na.

A new Engel & Voelkers opens its door somewhere in the world every week. Globally, the company is expected to double its rate of expansion in 2007 and grow revenues again by a similar figure.
